In partnership with South Suburban PADS a nonprofit organization established in 1990 as a response to the growing numbers of individuals and families becoming homeless in Chicago’s south/southwest suburbs the PADS MINISTRY shelters the homeless. The shelter is open every Thursday from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and operates from October through April. We provide our guest with hot meals, towels, toiletries, mattresses, bedding and fresh linen. The Ministry offers prayer time and Bible Study for those guest seeking prayer, words of comfort and above all salvation.

Ministry Mission

The mission of PADS is to encourage, assist, and guide less fortunate families and individuals and to help increase their ability to meet their responsibilities and achieve maximum Godly self-sufficiency.

Scripture Focus

A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

For we are Gods’ workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
