Vision Statement

Our vision in the Social/Economic Empowerment (S.E.E) and Justice ministry is to be salt and light to the world as advocates and workers for economic and social justice; and embody a gospel that addresses humanity’s physical, economic, political, and social state as well as his/her spiritual state of being.

Mission Statement

We will incorporate social justice as an integral part of living our faith. Through our voice and active participation in the legislative process we will serve the under-served and the structurally disenfranchised in the areas of economic opportunity, housing, education, and healthcare.

We will promote the vision and values in keeping with the ministry identified by Jesus Christ in Luke 4:18-19:

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim The Year of the Lord’s favor.”
