Our mission is to go out and spread the “Good News” using different methods to draw the lost to Christ. We reach out to our neighbors, churches, communities, workplaces, schools and other senior groups.

We strive to advance the Kingdom by showing men, women, children, and families (young and old) the love of God and His offer for Salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ. Seniors On The Move (SOTM) is open to persons 50 years of age and older. Our regular monthly meeting is on second Thursdays at 10:00 am at the church.

We sponsor at least two major events each year: An African American History Program each February and a Summit of Services each August. Every third Sunday in September is Senior Sunday. From October through April we read to young students in School District 144. Every fourth Thursday we fellowship with residents at the Applewood Nursing Home. Throughout the year we offer numerous programs, outings, trips, and lunches. We have partnered with South Suburban Family Shelter, School District 144, the Applewood Nursing Home and PADS.

We are open to increasing our fellowship to include you.
